It’s natural for a Christian to doubt his or her salvation from time to time. We all occasionally get discouraged and downcast. Sometimes we begin to wonder if we are saved at all or if God still loves us.
While it is possible for a Christian to lose their salvation (2 Pet. 2:20-22; Heb. 3:12-13; 6:4-8; 10:26-27), a Christian should not live plagued by spiritual uncertainty. These reminders are for those who have already embraced God's plan for salvation, having put their faith in Christ and having put on Christ in baptism (Gal. 3:24-27).
1. You can know that you are saved (1 Jn. 5:13). You might not feel like it right now, but it can be true for you.
2. Our heart might condemn us, but God is greater than our heart (1 Jn. 3:20).
3. Our salvation rests in God’s ability, not our own (Eph. 2:4-6, 8-9; Titus 3:4-6).
4. If we have confessed our sins, God will keep His promise to forgive us (1 Jn. 1:9).
5. If you are in Jesus Christ, nothing can separate you from the love of God (Rom. 8:38-39).
6. A sin you are actively struggling to put to death is not the same as if you were to “go on sinning deliberately” (Heb. 10:26).
7. “Feeling lost” is not the same thing as being lost, just as “feeling saved” is not the same thing as being saved — our heart can deceive us (Jer. 17:9).
8. If God saved the chief of sinners, He can save you (1 Tim. 1:15-16)
9. God wants to save you (Lk. 12:32; Phil. 2:13)
10. If God wanted to save you when you were His enemy, how much more do you think He wants to save you now that you are His friend (Rom. 5:8-10; 8:32)?
11. Whether you are aware of it or not, the Holy Spirit is testifying to God the Father that you belong to Him (Rom. 8:16).
12. The Holy Spirit is currently interceding on your behalf to God (Rom. 8:27).
13. No matter your past, if you’ve responded to God’s call, you are part of the predestined group to be justified and glorified (Rom. 8:30).
14. If God started a good work in you, He’ll bring it to completion (Phil. 1:6). God will finish what He started!
15. If God has justified you, nobody can condemn you (Rom. 8:33-34a).

16. No trial or difficulty you experience can separate you from Christ’s love (Rom. 8:35-37).
17. When we sin, Jesus Christ Himself pleads our case, interceding and advocating for us at the Father’s side (1 John 2:1; Rom. 8:34; Heb. 7:25).
18. Jesus saves to the uttermost (i.e., completely and at all times) those who draw near to God through Him (Heb. 7:25).
19. When God forgave your sins, He forgot them, cast them to the bottom of the sea, stomped them under His feet, and removed them as far from you as the east is from the west. In other words, they are GONE (Heb. 8:12; Micah 7:19; Ps. 103:12).
20. God is faithful to His promises even when we aren’t (2 Tim. 2:13).
21. God doesn’t save the perfect, He perfects the saved (Phil. 3:12; Heb. 12:23).
22. God has promised to sanctify us completely and He “will surely do it” (1 Thess. 5:23-24).
22. Nobody can snatch us out of Jesus’ hand (Jn. 10:28).
24. There is NO CONDEMNATION (not even from God) for those who are in Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:1-3).
25. God has promised eternal life, and He never lies (Titus 1:2).
